Crossing my fingers and hoping the weather is kind this weekend.

I’m trying to clock some miles on the car now we’re back on the road, 500 miles so far and no dramas, so have booked a ticket for this.

Looks like a good meet but is the main day of the Silverstone classic unfortunately and I already have tickets for that & the BMW club stand

The Motorist meets are usually good. Just booked my entry time to this BMW special on Sunday - hopefully a good turnout.

Not such a great turn out at the BMW meet at The Motorist this weekend - possibly due to the poor weather. Though it was mainly E36 and newer 3 series BMW cars It was good to get chance to see E30Derbyshire with his fantastic 318 - a real treat. A very nice E30 cab and a lovely E24 turned up - with E30 family styling cues from tip to toe.

Great to meet you, your coupe is lovely, can’t beat originality can you?! I felt slightly ashamed as a stuck fuel cap meant I didn’t get time to clean mine up before we left (an hour of persuading before I could fill her up!) and we then got caught in the rain on the M1!! If anyone fancies a meet up this is an hour away from us, so we’d be happy to drive up on a Sunday or for curry night. It’s a shame we missed the e30 we encountered on our way out down the road, good to flash lights and wave though! Great venue and friendly staff, well worth a visit.
