Hi from Ireland

Hi folks,

finally bought the car I've wanted since I was a kid. Just bought this car in the Uk and have imported it into Ireland now (insert a long groan about Brexit and Tax here). Photos and video are from the original seller. Have to get some for myself.

A few little things to do like put in an original style power antenna, fix some paint cracks, try find an original working radio to replace to horrible 90s aftermarket version and a little work on the hood to seal it a little better. Overall though, drives great!

Beauty mate! I'm running a blaupunkt madrid 200bt in mine, fits the look and has bluetooth etc

I spy a cowcatcher, cardinal red interior - very tasteful on a chromie...

Yes, get a replacement Hirschmann antenna for that period correct functionality

I was looking at the Blaupunkt Bremen, which matches the orange dash lighting, but it's very pricey.

I really want good audio in my car so what I'm thinking about doing is just buying two decent portable bluetooth speakers that pair together and stream from my phone and leave the car original. Have one Ultimate Ears BOOM 2 already so buy another, or maybe 3 for a 4 speaker setup (you can connect up to 50 of these together...though no idea why you would ever do that).
I can't decide if this is a ridiculous idea or a great idea.

The Jimmy hill was an after market at some point along the way. I like it though so going to leave it.

Got a cheap ebay replica antenna rather than the an original Hirschmann. Not much to lose if it doesn't work but should be fine.

Bremen is nice but Madrid also looks good. I'll take a pic later
