E30 cabrio complete exhaust system

Hello,

I'm trying to get my 1989 E30 2.0 cabrio (F 335 RKX) back on the road but the garage says that all of the motor factors report the exhaust as no longer available.

I need everything - from (but not including) the manifold to the tailpipe including all brackets, mountings and gaskets.

I've been told that I need the following part numbers:

BMG23 gasket with two holes and four bolt holes
BMS240 front pipes and mid box
BMG4 and BMG5 gaskets
BMR1 rubber mounting
BM218B tail pipe and box
BMP15 metal mounting strap
BMR15 mounting

I have one concern - the last time I had the exhaust replaced there were two different systems listed for 1989, but the system listed for my reg number was actually the wrong one and it was the other system that was needed. The garage has told me that the key point about my system is that the manifold has two outlets and four bolts (as per BMG23) to match the twin downpipes to the mid box. No catalytic converter.

The part numbers you are quoting are non genuine so dont mean anything to us.

The exhaust that is listed for your car is a two part system like the picture with a four bolt flange on the downpipe.

It is all still available from the main German BMW warehouse and would take us 7 working days to get in for you.
