318is steering

Hi Guys,

I'm wondering if I have an issue with the steering on my 318is. At the 12 o clock position the steering feels a little vauge. It will also wander slightly both left and right.
I've checked both track rod ends and the steering column but there's zero play present. I'm thinking the rubber coupling could be on its way out.
I belive these are riveted in place. Is there any kits available for them that bokts together rather than rivet?

All the rest of the front suspension must be "OK" as in no play at all as this will give you a strange drive.
