Hi,
I wanted to partially fit cruise control bits while I had the cluster out.
I noticed that there’s a blue box above the engine ECU which appears to be the OBC relay? I’m not sure where the CC ECU will go as space seems to be premium already!
Thanks!

Have you got the correct bracket for the Cruise ECU? IIRC It has a step to it that spaces it over the one below

On a RHD?
EDIT: Maybe this makes sense as the zone guide would be from a LHD car?

Hi,
Here’s a photo of the unit with bracket. I think it could be that I need to put this under the glove box as someone else suggested?

Yes there looks to be 2 types of bracket for LHD and RHD. Now Ben has mentioned it I remember the cruise being behind the glovebox.
Makes sense as there are different wiring looms for LHD and RHD cars.

Update. This is what I found after taking off the glove box…
The ABS ECU. I really don’t see a place for the CC ECU here either. So I’ve taken the Clarkson route and shoved the CC ECU on top of the engine and OBC ECU on the drivers side without the bracket. Seems like a nice and snug fit.
I still haven’t put my cluster back in so would appreciate if I missed something WRT putting the ECU under glovebox.
Thanks!

i think your c/c ECU goes above the glovebox latch- plate ,top-right of your pic., perhaps using that pair of holes that is just at the edge-of-pic.

Someone from Facebook posted this helpful photo. The CC ECU goes into the space above the glovebox latch.
