Just got my first e30
So, fuse 3 is missing (aux fan), but aux fan is working
16 is heated seats, my car doesn't have
26, rear wash wipe, my car doesn't have
27, central locking, heated door locks, obc horn, sound system. Central locking working, obc horn (what is that? limiter gong? alarm?), sound system not sure if working as don't have a radio in
relay r1 (normal speed relay); does this link to aux fan?
relay r6, also aux fan
relay r9, something linked to fog lights apparently? - named rear wash wipe on wiki diagram but other diagrams tell me also involved with aforementioned
For ref I have a 325i SE 2 door manual 1988 (UK)
how come even though stuff like fuse 27 is missing the central locking is still working? likewise with aux fan
Cheers

You have fuse 27 in its slot there so the central locking would be working. If its working when you remove it then the previous owners may have wired that into a different circuit. I would imagine you may not have an aux fan just a viscous fan in the front of the engine. In relation to the sound system fuse 27 would cover power to an amplifier if fitted. The radio fuses are 12 and 21 which deal with the ignition live circuit for the radio and radio memory respectively.
