Hi, anyone know what might cause my electric window mechanism to judder when I lower the window?
I’ve got a video to share but can’t seem to find an option to upload it.
Thanks in advance.

First step would probably to watch it in action with the door trim removed. Might give you a better idea of what's going on. The door trim comes off pretty easily with 3 screws and some trim clips. Also make sure to preserve the door membrane.

Hi, I’ve got the door time off... here’s a link to a video of it in motion.
The judder occurs at the point the window is raised or lowered from standstill and not throughout.
I’ve stopped and raised/lowered the window a 3 intervals so hopefully you should be able to catch what I am referring to.

A quick spray of silicon grease in the glass guides, and all will probably be well.

I gave that a go last night and the mechanism is smoother than what it was. Just looking to sort that annoying judder which appears as though the window is dropping before it lowers.
I’ll continue to tinker and see what happens.
Thanks.
