Hello
I’m after a LSD for my m60 swapped e30 and they seem to be not too bad on price from these guys but never heard of them before, only other place I’ve been recommended is “diffsonline” but they are in America and more expensive.
Cheers.

I cant take this company seriously because of the silly square blocks they sell to fit into open diffs as some sort of lsd conversion

How about Quaiffe, they have a really good reputation and are not much dearer than some second hand diffs I have seen.

Depends on what you are doing with it, Quaife not really suited to the E30 rear suspension. Well over £1500 fitted (it needs properly fitting) isn't overly cheap in my book, at that sort of money I would get the Wavetrac which is better suited to the E30.fixedwheelnut wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 10:12 pmHow about Quaiffe, they have a really good reputation and are not much dearer than some second hand diffs I have seen.

No real cheap way of doing it, second hand E30 plate diff almost certain to be completely shagged unless recently rebuilt.
As above I can't get my head round those block-things they shove in an open diff.... how does that work

Speak to Heasman Differentials. Any LSD will be expensive now as used they cost a lot and really need a rebuild after 30 years of abuse. If it’s a track car, avoid geared diffs. But if it’s for a road at a geared/Torsten diff are pretty much fit and forget (in simple terms).

A local one to me is Gear Lab UK, I just bought some clutch plates for my LSD from them.
They're based in Stoke-on-Trent, recommended to me by Dave Astbury.
Looks like they do full diffs but their website is down currently, i spoke to them on their instagram, https://www.instagram.com/gearlabuk/
