Hi there
I have a ‘new’ 1991 e30 convertible and am looking to get hold of a wind deflector to stop my wife wanting me to put the roof back up on a sunny/windy day so as to avoid hair malfunctions. Any tips on what to buy and where from gratefully received, either from here in surrey, UK or else sent from abroad. My car doesn’t have any pre-drilled holes so I guess I would be looking for one that looks like it’s called a ‘clicksystem’ that simply fits snugly in. Not overly purist but getting an original type wind deflector I guess would be preferable whether new or classic/old. All suggestions and top tips most welcome. Many thanks

A wind deflector is definitely a MUST if you own a convertible..
It was like driving in a wind tunnel before I got mine and now I cant imagine not having one in there!
I'd recommend going OE as the aftermarket ones never looked right to me!
Also you don't need any pre drilled holes or anything it spring clips into the seatbelt section and sits in the rest. I'll see if I have any pics of mine

Ahhhhh that old conundrum, I have one and original one with the bag, when fitted I would be in the car in a pair of shorts and a tee shirt and the girlfriend would be in jeans wearing a fleece and a fucking scarf..........Gbradbury wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 6:51 pmHi there

To me there is no alternative mate..I didn't mind paying a bit more as the aftermarket ones look so cheap in comparison.boxclever1753 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 3:38 pmThese pictures have made me want to find a genuine one!Cypriotgeeza wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 3:00 pmHere's a couple of pics of mine so you can see how the genuine one fits:

Yeah - yours looks amazing. The aftermarket ones don't even come to close to the same fit and quality it seems.
