My E30 isn't my daily driver and is tucked away in winter. I left myself a note to bleed the brakes as last time I used it I remember touching cloth as the brakes didn't seem to bite...they worked but it felt like I was pressing the brake pedal a fraction than what I was.

I hooked up my pressure bleeder to the reservoir and noticed that I was getting almost no flow when bleeding the rear right caliper, inspecting the reservoir I saw that I was losing fluid from one of the grommets where the reservoir sits. I sucked out the brake fluid, took off the reservoir, removed the Grommets and was met with corrosion under where the grommet makes contact with the brake master cylinder. I have two new grommets on order from BMW but I'm not sure how this would happen in the first place, the grommets look fine to me.

Has anyone had this before, and would that explain the lack of brake performance? The master cylinder was replaced a few years ago and the booster is working fully.
