so, who watched top gear last night?

any thoughts on it?

it was really good to see them using an e21 323i in the "dad's car" feature,
from what i've seen on social media chris harris actually bought the 323i he was using as it reminded him so much of his dads old car.

also, the rally challenge part was pretty good, 3 fully prepped mk2 escorts chasing down a full spec metro 6R4.

hopefully this season will be a lot lot better then the last few.
only time will tell.

Looking through my rose tinted glasses,I’ve always loved an E21 especially 323i,yes I know they were not the best BMW ever made, but they had something about them other than the 3 series before BMW built the best one.

The e21 323i was a good car,

I used to know a garage owner who had one as a rally car, that thing was evil 8O

I looked at a lot of E21 323is back in the '80s because I could not afford an e30 as it was so new. It was only because a benevolent family member agreed to let me have their E30 323i for a really stupid price that I did not end up owning one. Thankfully I still have that car now

The last car my old man had before he died was a 535i Sport, I've still got that as well and it is not going anywhere either.

I was sorry when LeBlanc went. He was a useless actor but a proper petrol-head.
