I have a new pc tower and have bought two different external cd drives so I can rip music to the pc.
Both start to rip and after @ two cd`s an error message comes up .
Any ideas what I`m not doing correctly ?
Cheers Mart.

Well, some idea of what the error message says might help.

I would google for problems with the software you are using to copy from the CD players.

Remove the CD from the external case and fit it internally, could be lack of power vis the USB port, sub standard USB cable (you Northerners like to do stuff on the cheap) ;o))))))
Oh and lower the speed that you are ripping at.
