Hi all, I am new to any Forum's but was having some central locking issues and started seeing some of the threads on here and it looks like a good place seek help from other owners.
I have had my Royal Blue 325i cab coming up 5 years now. I barely knew one end of a spanner from the other before buying her, but have got more and more involved in learning and doing my own mechanical, improvement and general reversal work of previous owner abuse.
She now drives pretty well, arguably some way off a show car, but work in progress. Major things on that list include a new hood (needed sometime soon as disintegrating on the inside) Head gasket (seeping oil on front of block, but never got any worse) and bodywork/respray (to fix previous bodged/poor repair and a small rust patch starting to form).
I will need to seek some help from the technical section regarding the central locking though as this really has me beaten.

Pics are nice - as we all love pics of E30s here
There are quite a few experts here that can help.

Hi, couple more pics attached.
The valances were there when I bought it. Cheap fibre glass tech2 style regrettably. They have cut a section out of the original metal valance and both the front towing eyes to make it fit! I have decided it is just too costly to reverse, but wish oh wish they chose Tech1 instead (even if fibreglass). Foglights were also dummies that were sealed and had no wiring. That was fixed with some new lights and some pigtails from a broken car.
I have replaced many damaged/missing or non original parts to make her a better car. I service it every other year (it is not a daily driver) and have changed cam belt, all fluids, filters, leads and plugs. I am now at the cross roads though of, spend big to make her as good as she can be, but only add that at best in value or leave as she is and enjoy as best I can.
