Anyone have any experience of them, was looking at the 3lV6 etc as some come as a 4WD which appeals to me. Would chop the Legacy in for this as then I could sort of use it as a Day Van/Over Night Camper and as a daily.

Looks like a Bongo super
It is that transmission I would be worried about , 3.5 V6 on one end and 4WD on the other would give it a hard time.

It is not an auto box it is their "XTronic" CVT, look at the problems they had with it in the likes of the Nissan Pathfinder

Lots of manufacturer's are using CVT boxes now just like most things on a car that have "evolved" it needs to be looked after, but yes a CVT box can fail faster than I standard one, hmmmmmm

I'd have no problem with a CVT in the Prius, (if I ever felt that urge) I even drove a DAF 33 once (and things have certainly evolved since then

So maybe a 2.5 would be a better option?
I do have a secret weapon, Rocky, he did a rebuild on my auto box in the E30 2 years ago.

There's a white one of those parked round the corner from my dads,
Didn't realise just how big they are, nearly the size of a transit van,
They do look pretty good inside & would make a good base for a camper conversion.
