Motronic 1.3 Conversion - injectors

Hey all,

First time poster, long time lurker.

Hoping the brains trust here can help me clarify something regarding injectors on the Motronic system.

I’m converting my Jetronic system on my E30 to Motronic 1.3.
I was looking on the wiki page for the conversion and it says the following regarding the injectors:

Injectors
Unfortunately, the injectors on older engines are high-impedance, and their electrical operation is incompatible with the newer Motronic system. You will therefore need to fit newer injectors with a lower impedance.

Looking at the forums and parts list from realoem suggest the above statement is not true amd I do require high impedance injectors.

Is that correct?
Sorry if this has been answered before. I did do a search and couldn’t find anything.
