Hi guys, need some help/advice

I am removing my inlet manifold to have it blasted. I have removed the 12 bolts- 6 either side and the support bracket but it still doesnt fome off. It has never been removed. Any idea why it doesnt come off or how to remove it? I dont want to hammer it incase i break it.

Its on a 325i cab 1991

Any help is appreciated

Cheers

Assuming you've disconnected the injector loom then I can't see you causing any damage if you hit it with a rubber mallet.

Have you undone the fuel rail and vacuum pipes and MAINLY the OIL BREATHER TUBE under the manifold, you need to push that down and hold it against the spring pressure with either clamps or cable ties.

Thanks for the advice, will look at the tube tomorrow and see if it comes off holding that spring down.

Wasted a good amount of time today
