Hello guy`s,
I have a 316 Baur M10 B18 1987 and the rear box has lost the rubber mounting but I do have a new one but I would love to see anyone who has a picture of how this is attached.
It`s too cold for me (and too old) to have a go without a good idea first.

Cheers , Mart.

I always use a big screwdriver as a lever and lots of swearing.

These aren't easy. It may help immersing it in boiling water to soften the rubber and make it more pliable but the bottom line is brute force.

Big bars and I've found WD40 or some sort of lube helps when you're at your wits end trying to force the bastard on.

I think you can get special tools for the job but as has been mentioned before I tend to go with a gert screwdriver, brute force and lots of swearing with the odd scrapped knuckle thrown in lol.
Lube like wd40 defo helps ease it all into place.

Silicon Spray is the way forward - and warm up the rubber in hot water to make it more pliable
