Looking for somewhere to park this weekend, I came across this stunning 338i parked on a back street. A lovely example, in the original "Australian racing beige".

judging by that pea shooter exhaust pipe he has probably replaced the 1 in the 318i badge to a 3..

Yeah, it's registered as a 318i. It's a weird looking thing though - it was an extremely hot day so I might have been a bit delirious, but it caught my eye not just because of the 338i badge, but because it looks odd - like someone tried to recreate an E30 out of scrap, based on a picture in a magazine. It's registered as a 1990 model - but it doesn't look like 1990 to me?? Horrible colour too.

Chrome bumpers, must be prefacelift? Could've been stored by a dealership and registered late or something.

Looks like a bitsa, defo a 318 but 1990 would make it plastic bumpers not a cromie,, 100% genuine and straight is where the money is.

All comments by me should be taken in the right sprite, Jack Daniels is fine.

The bumpers match the rear lights. That wasn't made in 1990.
