Hi,
My nearside central locking actuator seems to keep trying to operate after turning the key to unlock the car (can't remember if it does it on locking), it makes a loud buzzing type noise for a second or two.
Which is more likely to be the culprit, the actuator itself or the central locking relay?
Cheers,
Dave

Actuator may be sticking. I would imagine if the others are working then that particular actuator is the problem

More likely that what the actuator is trying to move is sticking. Clean and lubricate!

Cheers, I'll try and find some time and motivation to strip the door down and give it a proper investigation. Hopefully does just need a clean and lube.

I had exactly this problem a few weeks ago, I sprayed wd40 in through the key hole and the door shut side of the lock. This cured the problem, I then sprayed bike chain lube in same areas. Been working fine since. Will at some stage strip and clean but to cold at the moment.
