My insignificant New Year’s Eve.

Every New Year’s Eve for the last 25/30 years in my house with my family on the stroke of midnight out comes the champagne/Brut/or the Italian equivalent,I can’t remember the name of it, anyway that’s what everyone does on the stroke of midnight I here you say,but how many of you down the pub or at house partys or night clubs with a beer,wine,shot,short,or any other tiple to see the new year in can say that. This year around midnightish go for the box which holds the bottle of bubbbles.I moved a couple of offending articles to get the bottle and put it the tield conservatory floor,I then went to put the articles back where they were,but managed to knock the bottle over and SMASH.On the stroke of midnight I was on my hands and knees mopping up a bottle of drink,and in the grand scheme of things that is what it is.How I monied,and then thought 2020,thousands of people have died, thousands of people have lost there jobs,and I’m moning about a bottle of drink.
