please contact me if you have any available
dont mind the condition or colour as long as its got the back board to come with it.

Sounds like you've got some iffy info.
The headliner from a 4 door will have the B pillar cuts in a different location than your 2dr. While it would be the same outer dimensions, you'll have different edges with fold lines in the wrong place and extra / not enough material in the B pillar region, possibly leading to gaps or saggy spots.
Also there is no back-board as such. Theres a foam lining on the inside of the roof that the headliner is stuck to around the sunroof but otherwise nothing hard, it's held in by sprung rods. Only the Touring has a composite fibreboard hard backing.
Maybe if you describe what's happening with your headliner then someone will be able to say what it needs to fix it?

i've bought a 325i 2dr track car and trying to put it back on the road, I've got majority of the bits seats trims carpet ect ect... but i'm missing the complete headliner its just bare metal.
i contacted few company's and they all said we can not just fit a headliner you will need source out a board that the headliner will go on so we can then attach the board to the roof
also was told by few people that 2 door and 4 door headliner boards are the same only difference is that the pre-facelift came with a very soft sort of foam while the facelift e30 1990 came with a actual board as it had electric sunroof and the top check panel computer,
so not sure what to do as im getting different opinions.
i can find headliners but there are completely plain meaning no board or foam on them and everyone refuses to fit them
so any advice would be appreciated as what i can do cause been chasing companys to fit a headliner for quite a while now but everyone refusing without the board

You are obviously talking to the wrong people, you can have an opinion on what is above an E30 headlining or you can actually know what is there, Mr sskoda knows what he is on about, see video here, skip to 6 minutes and you will also realise why you are struggling to find one

For what it's worth, DanThe & SSkoda are spot on above, they've got it right.
Reckon these "experts" you've been talking too are getting mixed up with later generation 3-series models. In fact, that's probably the issue, the car should always be referred to as an E30 rather than generic 3 series.
Cheers Tel
