Hi all, ive got a new blue temp sensor to fit to my 318is as i think its knackered as my temp gauge on my dash doesnt go out of the blue mark. Only thing is i cant locate it, can any one help me. Pics would be handy.

I think the blue temp sensor is for the ECU, there is a seperate one for the dash temp gauge. So either you've got the wrong part or you need to look at something else, like the thermostat.

Blue temp sensor has nothing to do with the temp gauge needle. That's the brown one, and it doesn't usually fail.
Thermostat is probably your problem.

Good job i brought a thermostat aswell, i think this could be the problem as my heater is'nt great, its putting out some heat but it should be better than it is. Cheers for the replys guys, looks like ill be taking the blue sensor back.
