That's right, I bought mine from Dick Lovett in Hungerford, I can't remember which way round it was but they said there was one showing in stock at Bracknell and Zero in Germany, this was back in July last year, they must have put them back in production i guess.bss325i wrote:Powelly supposedly bought the last one in stock from Germany a while back.csl wrote:How long have you had that steering wheel mate?......Im still waiting for one to arrive.

well heres a little update following on from my " freshen up the engine bay" thread...
Was putting off doing this, as i knew that once i start, i wouldn’t know the limit to stop, until its pretty much all done in the bay....
So i decided to take the plunge and make a start, so here it is...
Here are some pics before i made a start, of the engine...

Notice the earth lead, anyone know why that would be there, and what its actually doing, not really had a chance to check that out, as ive not really touched it since ive got it...so any help would be appreciated....
And heres a few pics of the bay, after a good few hours of hard work and very sore hands...
So far ive managed to do the whole sides where the water bottle and radiator bottle go, the front panel, around the inside of the wings

So after the above, i decided to take the rocker cover off to clean it up and freshen it up, after i did that, i looked at the inlet manifold, and contemplated whether to take it off to clean that also, but really didn’t want to due to the amount of work involved, but after thinking about it, and the whole point was to clean the engine bay up was to make it look sweet, i decided to go for it and take that off also...
One after i decided to take the rocker cover off along with the inlet manifold off

So now im waiting for this weird weather to make its mind up, if its going to rain or be sunshine, so i can continue on with making the rest of it clean...
Will get more pics up later on, of the bits ive cleaned up etc...

Well an update, after taking the engine apart, i ordered all the gaskets that were needed so that i could carry on with this...along with a few other fresh parts...

Well forgot to take pics as i was going along (got carried away) but heres once it was pretty much complete...

Oh whilst waiting for bits to dry up etc, i decided to take the grills and kidney off, and polish/clean them up as well, came out good, but cant really tell from the picture...

Well finally got the carbon bonnet out, and since all the holes were covered, i had to drill out the holes in order to feed the washer pipes through, tbh i was scared as f$$k...
So i slowly started of by drilling a hole at the top left corner and masked around it, as you can see from the pic...

And then one at the bottom just next to where the bonnet bracket would be...once the hole was made, i fed through some speaker wire through(only thing that was in eyesight view)

Pulled some of it through and then taped up the washer pipe on the other side and pulled it till it came out the other side... then did similar thing to get the cable out of the other 2 holes where the jet washers supposed to be sitting

Then after that was done, i had to file down the holes for the jet washers, which i had masked around too, just incase i slipped, took a while to get the right dimensions but was worth it....

After that drama, it was time to install it on the car.....finally

well not really updated much for a long time....
Finally ordered some new suspension, after selling up the GAZ, found them unbearable, ended up not using the car at all due to the drive being so shite...so decided to take them off and get rid...
so after months of deciding what to replace them with, ive decided to go with the Bilstein B12 kit... just been ordered so waiting for them to arrive....
will update soon

I drove past yours at the week end and had a little peak. Didn't realise you have a black sport! Looks very nice. Those new bottles cost a bit don't they? I thought C3 were joking when they told me how much. You don't even get the lid do you? That's seperate lol

There were a few others, but cant find the pics for them.
PAST.....
This was my 1st 325iSE, was a awesome car, but now crushed, due to some accidents...RIP![]()
BEFORE
AFTER
PRESENT.....
Now to the latest project, this was all standard, bought the car with the Tech 2 kit on, had a blown engine, so put a 2.5 in it, then slowly slowly started putting it together. All the bits on it at the moment was bought by me and put together, took forever to find most of the parts, bearing in mind ive had this car around 2 years, but bought most of the bits over the years and kept them until i was ready.
The car came with standard sport cloth seats, standard BBS alloys, well to break it down, heres a list of what ive done to it so far:-
- Changed the carpet to the dark charcoal colour one
- Put Eibach ARB
- Put Original smoked headlights
- Got the rears sprayed red, professionally of course
- Put the Original BMW "Recaro's" seats, in black leather.
- Put the M3 rear seats in.
- Got some new alloys for it, well Borbet A's- 9j all around.
- Also got the M3 tacho instrument
- Got Wilwood 310mm kit on
- So now had to change the alloys as the brakes didnt fit under the Borbets, will get pics soon of the latest ones on there, nothing WOW but will do for the moment.
- Got another set of alloys also but that will be reveiled later, when i get other things done to it.
mmmm cant think of whatelse there was, at the moment but will update all in good time.....
Just remember...
- Got some leather door handles(well front only)
- Got a leather center console
- Got some leather handles that go just above the window, cant remember what they are called.
Well what you guys/girls think, hope you enjoy.....
