My new-to-me M40 Touring has always had a lot of noise that seems to be near the intake manifold. This noise sounds to me like an air leak, but I cannot find one.
However, I just recently raised the idle speed from 600 rpm to 800 rpm, and the noise is gone! Does anyone understand what is going on here?
