Had my E30 for just over 2 years now, and I've stripped it down to near enough a bare shell now.
It's an '89 320i 2-door in Alpine White.
I started off just wanting to clean up the engine bay and get it on the road, but I'm sure you're all aware of how projects like this snowball. Slowly, piece by piece, I found rust hole after rust hole. Now, after removing trim panel after engine after suspension and brakes, I'm left with a rear subframe and wheels, with a burst castor wheel bolted onto a spare front subframe
I'm going to start posting my progress on here, hoping that some people will find it interesting, and others will be able to help me with the massive pile of rusty **** that I own,
The current plan is a rust-delete, M20B25 swap, disc rear-brake conversion, and some light body extras, though I'm continually tempted by an M54B25/B30 swap if I can afford it after the rust is gone.
RustMachina out, wish me luck.
