Hi, I am a newbie on this forum, so glad I have found you.

I have been an owner in the UK of an E30 318is for 27 years. My pride and joy requires work to the exhaust and it’s the section of the exhaust from the manifold to the centre section which needs replacing. I believe the original part no was 18301728083, apparently my exhaust does not have a port for the lambda sensor.

Any suggestions or contacts of possible suppliers for the exhaust Sections would be much appreciated. Having done initial searches exhausts for my car seem very difficult to find.

CES were able to supply a system for my 325i at a reasonable cost when alternatives had eye-watering prices

Welcome! Are you UK based? Fritzbitz do a nice full stainless system that has to be impossible to beat price wise. I will be buying one for my car very soon.

More than happy to post a few pictures, silly question I know, but how do you attach the pics to a post ?

You must excuse me as I am just getting into this. Can’t believe I haven’t found this forum earlier, really friendly and a great resource for any E30 owner.

Cheers.

Hi, I went to Fritzbitz, and they had everything we needed in stock for my car, great service and a really nice bit of kit.

Really appreciate the advice. If all goes well I should have my 318is back on the road this weekend.

Hi,

I am in need of an exhaust for my 318is too.
Can I ask how the fritzbits system is?, performance/sound etc?

Thanks Nick

Hi, yes I would highly recommend the Fritzbitz system. It’s a quality piece of kit, all fitted really well.

Performance wise, it sounds great, not sure that I have noticed the difference that the 15 bhp brings, but I intend to take the car out for a good spin this weekend.

To be honest, finding Fritzbitz (from advice given on here) was a major relief as it was proving an absolute nightmare sourcing a replacement exhaust. Yes definitely a thumbs up for Fritz !
