Water then rust in the boot

Found this rust in my boot after I found some water any ideas guys

Check the rear light seals for a start.

If it's a Chromie check the bumper end cap seal securing screws as another point of entry for the water. They should have a spacer/seal on them to stop the water getting in to the boot wells through the double skin. Either renew the seal or put some sealer in there with the screw.

If the car has been parked looking downhill, it could be as simple as the boot hinge and catch needing adjustment. If the boot will lock with the lightest pressure, then it probably does.

i saw the post about this on FB looks like the lip of the inner arch has rusted out.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
