I was looking at the 35 mm lowering springs in the zone shop and was wondering would it be fine just to fit the springs or would lowering it by just 35 mm cause camber problems. I've seen the bush kits but would'nt know which kit if any would be the right ones, I dont really know that much about suspension set ups but would like to lower the car a bit but without it causing excess tyre wear. The car is a 1990 320ise coupe' with 14 inch BBS wheels, any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks :thumb:

lowering to any degree will increase neg camber due to suspension layout which when lowered to far will reduce tyre life, but at 35 mm i dont think youll notice.
in my opinion springs only would do a budget job for you !but if your feeling flush reep the full benefit and get a suspension kit. :)springs/shocks.

35mm is nothing to worry about. over 45mm your looking at excessive wear, 60mm shreads the inner tyre

with a 35mm drop the tyre wear will not increase enough for u to notice or get upset about. 60mm is where that is at!

I've just done 35mm springs last weekend, and certainly no noticable camber change whatsoever. But as always..keep a close eye on your tyres for even wear.
(I fitted Bilstein Sport shockers too... BRILLIANT'!!)

Yeah, uprating your springs whilst keeping standard dampers will make your car a wee bit bouncy!

Is front/rear camber at all adjustable on these cars??

Is there a way to dial out the neg camber with the h and r 60/40 kit as id rather the ride height of that than the 35 mm springs.is the handling affected much by using the 60/40 kit ie worse than the 35.
