I am breaking the rules a little without posting a price, since I don't know just yet if I am selling the full or the headers only, but I'll be updating this once I get the exhaust off the car and get some more thorough pics up. I wanted to give a heads up - it should be available in a couple of weeks. I don't have a lot of pics yet but will update.

It's the full Fritz System - headers and the whole way back. It's around 2 years old and in pretty good nick. Pictures and a dyno video is here:

Originally the fitment was not great (4 inch gap), but this was rectified and now fits well. She's loud, but not ultra loud.

New these run around £1,350 + VAT so in the £1,600 region, they also have a lead time of around a month if I recall correctly. (http://www.fritzsbits.co.uk/systems/e30 ... tem-detail)

Happy to help with any questions in the meantime - will upload more pics and price in the next week or so.

Cheers,
Gus

I believe there is a difference between the M50 and S50 systems. Do you know if that is correct? From the picture, I'm assuming its for an M50

I would not be surprised if there was due to the block height - it's for an M5x correct (and fits)

I gave Fritz bitz an email as I know this is mentioned in different threads with no definite answer

The reply was

Ok, this is the way it works – The M50/M52 manifold set is slightly different from the S50 manifold set due to the 5mm wider cylinder head profile on the S50.

The M50/M52 exhaust system is the same as the S50 item and is constructed in 2 x 60mm pipework to cope with the 3.2. It seemed fairly pointless to build different systems in different sized pipework for the various different displacements, so we went for the biggest necessary.

So for an S50 can the exhaust will fit but the manifold will not.

Updated with pics - looking for £1,000 ono, would like to avoid putting on eBay if possible

System is under 2 year old, full dual 60mm. Good for S50/or stroker engines. It's reasonably loud and doesn't drone too badly. Joe at BTB said it's actually a pretty decent system, the primaries are short though. In terms of power - butt dyno feels pretty much the same as the new BTB system with S50 manifolds, so take from that what you will. Happy to help answer any questions or send more pics if required. It's in very good condition.

Definitely twin 50mm? Not 60mm?

regarding the manifold can you access every stud to get a nut on and does it clear the cars body without it banging about while driven hard ?.
