I'm putting three up for sale, including my E30, to see if they will find new owners.
Here's what I'm planning to say about the E30:

Happy reading:
1991 BMW 325i SE 4dr Saloon E30.
Great history, low mileage, original and low owners.
For sale due to a reduction of my small collection of much-loved classic cars.
Diamond Black metallic with 0376 silver-grey striped cloth Comfort interior. Automatic transmission.
There is a lovely history file with plenty enough documentation to support the 96,000 miles recorded as accurate and genuine.
One of the last of the SEs and as a result has many options fitted. Front and rear electric windows. Electric mirrors. Full remote central locking. Electric Sunroof. SE bootlid liner with extended toolkit. Battery located in boot, with cover and accessories storage divider (with accessories in it!). 13 button remote OBC as well as overhead check panel. 15” genuine BBS alloy wheels (including spare) and iS front lip. Towing eye, jack, brace and chock all in place.
Original book pack still with car. Manual, service booklet, original stereo instructions, service directory, leaflets for warranty, emergency, security and service indicator, it even still has the business card of the original BMW sales exec. At Halliwell Jones.
Delivered new on 1st March 1991, the day after its PDI. It was a leap year.
BMW service stamps at 1208, 5826, 10451, 19080, 21996, 24441, 26988, 29438, 39213, 44705, 52223, 59271 (Birds), 63397 (CS), 73041 (MRC), 79959 (Park Lane), 90759 (Queensway), actual invoices thereafter.
Plus: Stamps for annual checks, brake fluid changes and body inspections after one, two, three and four years.
Plus: 19 MoT certificates showing appropriate mileages.
Many, but not all, invoices on file.
Documents, VIN plate and stampings all match and in good order.
Five quality, matching tyres.
This car has been cherished all its life. There is no sign it ever went through that second phase of life where it gets hammered around and badly maintained!
Some very nice touches expertly added by previous owner include genuine BMW silver side-stripe (subtle but lifts the ‘look’ very effectively), LED lighting for doorhandles, footwells and boot, superb Nakamichi stereo with in-period style and great sound quality, traditional electric aerial, Nextbase dashcam, cupholders and more.
Consistent with (and improving on…) previous owners’ care, in my ownership the car has had many thousands lavished on it to make it a joy to own and drive, reliable, last longer and look even better.
For example, in July 2019, at 92,000m, at a cost well over £7,000:
Total top-end rebuild. )
New fuel tank. )
Sundry couplings and bushes. )
Change all fluids etc etc )
Plus regular oil and other fluid changes, general checks and renewals. 4 wheel alignment and so on.
Most recently, it’s had a new Bosch fuel pump and filter and a new (huge) battery.
In March 2020 (yes, immediately as we went into Lockdown!) the car went to a great bodyshop for renewal/restoration of inner and outer wheel arch and battery-tray corner (driver’s side) – not a small job. It cost over £2,500. Pictures in the file.
Invoices during my ownership are also in the file. They add up to about £12,000.
All mechanical work in my time carried out by the excellent team at Birds BMW in Iver.
MoT expires in October 2020 (or maybe 6 months after that – not sure?) I’m happy to arrange a fresh MoT should you wish.
This car is a total pleasure to drive – with or without the excellent stereo playing! She is fully set to bring joy to her next custodian.
Even with the massive following and support network these cars have now, there aren’t many left like this.
Classified ad price is £11,995.
