So I thought I had installed my rear sway bar incorrectly with the links closer to the spring - fixed that - but I still have an annoying clunk from the rear going over speed bumps
I don't it's anything in the boot and it's not consistent...have checked shocks, sway bar and attachments, brakes and all is OK...diff bush isn't all that old...running out of ideas and being driven up the wall.
Anything obvious I could have missed?

So - I am thinking that running the rear 19mm bar with softer springs may be causing the issue...I have shortened the drop links but it still is doing it (possibly marginally better - hard to tell). Am I correct in assuming that with the car sitting on it's weight there should be no tension in the drop links (they are adjustable). As I think I can seem some marks where the sway bar is hitting the body. The drop links are now 3 3/4" which seems the same as the standard ones, I may try shorter. Can't really think that it could be anything else at this stage...

If you have witness marks from the ARB on the body you probably have your answer.
You have got quite an ecclectic mix of suspension on the car I think things just get close together the lower you go.
This sort of thing is what is giving me second thoughts about going 5-stud

Yeah I think you're right - will see how much I can shorten the links.
The old EIbachs with standard end links were fine...they can always go back in.
I would definitely consider it carefully...I'm getting REAL tired of faffing around under the car and just want to use the damn thing
