Is anyone running these on the standard basketweaves? Got pics? Do they fit?
I am running 225/45R16 Yoko A048s at the moment and pretty happy with them as they don't rub, but debating if I sort a set of track wheels out using the old 15's. I don't imagine there would be much difference in sizing to the 16s but want to know if they fit on the rim
Cheers,
Gus

Think you'd be pushing your luck with a 225. What front dampers do you have? I wanted to go to a 205 from a 195 but the tyre would hit the spring platform on the fronts with my AST dampers. I wasn't brave enough to buy a set of tyres to find out so stuck with the 195.

Would there be more rubber than the 16's? I'm running M3 front struts with the Bilstein B8 (I think) damper that's been revalved for the J Stocks
Not a huge urgency so may put on the back burner and try out one day...that or just order one and check fitment

I thing generally you get better clearance the larger diameter you use because of the angle of the strut.
You have much more leeway at 17" than you do at 15"

Ah - this makes a lot of sense. May be worth buying 1 as a trial, but the Yoko's are fine so may skip it for the immediate future.
