So, ever since fitting the long range fuel tank, I've had a bit of a fuel leak....I was puzzling over this as I replaced the perished rubber overflow hose and could not really see much sign of leaking.
However - I started noticing that there are fuel streaks from the filler cap and got thinking - do these perish over time? Or perhaps I am using the wrong cap for the filler neck? I thought they were universal but they may well not be. Checking part numbers and going to check with a spare when I have the car back.
It seems to happen on right handers and a notable fuel smell in the car....any other ideas?
