It's one of the ones on the nearside wing under a little plastic cover, there should be 3 or 4 there IIRC.

had a look under the plastic cover, (the one where the fuese are). there where 3 yellow relays couple of black ones and then a long black one with 8 prongs on it. none of them looking like the fuel pump relay i have seen. any suggestions?

Sorry mate, they aren't under the fuse box cover they're halfway towards the front of the car on that side under a big blck platic cover, kinda behind the ABS unit, between the airbox and the wing.

Here's where the relay lives:

(Ignore the loose wiring everywhere - haven't tidied up since doing my LPG kit)

The vaporiser for the LPG is mounted from a bracket I made which mounts off the suspension turret - It keeps all the adjustments nice and handy, close to the cabin heater pipes which need to be T'd into.Widge wrote:Dude where is your mixer thingy for the LPG?

This link shows where Brianmooore (the god of all things LPG?) set his up:

I've got a single point injection closed loop system (Leonardo ECU) and toroidal tank in the boot.
Whole lot was Ԛ£590 which sounds a lot but I'll save that within a year.
Kits can sometimes be found on Ebay for less of course

Yeah but where does the bit that actually puts the gas in go?
I assume that is it between the AFm and bellows.

The mixer plate goes just before the air flow meter, inside the airbox.
You remove the original bolts holding the AFM to the airbox and bolt it here (you loose the trumpet inside the airbox)
Then a hole is made to connect it to the pipe from the vaporiser:

The silver thing after the AFM is an antiblow back device to prevent backfires blowing up the AFM and airbox!

One of my pics shows the mixer inside the top of the airbox clearly.
the intake side of the mixer is well radiused, so doesn't cause airflow problems like just removing the trumpet would.
The mixer can be fitted just in front of the throttle body if you fit a gas pressure activated piston arrangement to hold the AFM flap fully open when running on gas.
