Hi everyone,

Just got myself a mishimoto radiator for my 88 325i and the thing doesn’t fit. It’s way too wide and it won’t sit in the factory grooves at the bottom. I emailed them to ask if I had ordered the wrong part and they said it’s for the US spec car.

Don’t suppose anyone has fitted one of these or would recommend another brand. Looking at slapping a turbo on soon so need to get the cooling sorted.

I do have pictures if anyone needs to see

Thanks

The clip in brackets that the bottom of the radiator sits in come in various widths, and there will be a combination that fits your radiator.
Someone might be able to help if you measure the mismatch and give the dimensions of the brackets you have.
A quick look at the ETK, suggests that you might need a 10mm RH bracket instead of your existing 120mm one?

You need 2 RH plastic brackets one for each side.

I've just had the 2 radiators out and a ruler and its about 11cm difference between the 2 brackets so i will get them ordered when my local stealer opens back up.

Are they simply clip off and clip back on again?
