throttle position sensors ?

Are all facelift throttle position sensors the same, I've got a 325i throttle body with no tps and found an m40 one that fits but will it work. I don't have a running m20 engine to try it on cheers

Mine ends with "326" and Real OEM says it should be "559 " at least for my car, so I have no idea - mine is listed as "no CAT" version

There's 2 switches inside with very specific functions - if these are fulfilled I can't see any problem.

If the microswitch goes Off as the the throttle is opened and the WOT switch goes On as you reach wide open then its good.

Probably wise to check the pin outs with a meter as well.
