Sorry, not selling, but wanted to acknowledge Celica reference from one fan to another...
Or maybe I've over-thought it

Yes indeed. Bought it from first owner and brought it up to scratch, sold for a huge loss and wish I hadn't!

I think so. Chap who bought it has a small collection of interesting Japanese cars...
Good luck with your E30 search

Well I've been on the lookout for an old Mitsubishi as I still have a pile of period parts to make it 'interesting' but I've well and truly missed the boat on that one, they make E30s look plentiful and cheap,
Guess I'll just gave to settle on sorting out the 4 BMWs and the Triumph I have

I hope you're not looking for a '70s Colt GTO
I really want one (UK spec GSR) but they're rarer than any E30!

Yep that is what I was looking out for !! I would have settled for a good late 70s MK1 Sapporo but they have gone up to small moon money tooOldEnglish68 wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 9:38 amI hope you're not looking for a '70s Colt GTO

I have a lightened balanced and blueprinted Sirius 4G63 with gearbox and LSD form an '85 touring car team that disbanded that would fit really nice in one of those

I'm a fan of originality so we probably won't be chasing the same cars!
It's surprising how little is known about 70s Japanese cars outside the usual suspects (Zs mainly!) Quite a niche market really.
They did quite a good job of producing some interesting cars - but so many have rusted away. Just as bad as the Italian cars but somehow escaped much of the mocking!
Still, back to E30s. A not-so-secret great car of its time. I'm on my fourth one and it's always a pleasure to head out in it.
