I’ve been fiddling about today and decided to try and design my own “Touring” badge from a 1502-2002 due to genuine ones being £70+
I’ve always thought they look really good and would be cool to retrofit onto an E30 Touring.
After some time and adjustment I was able to get a decent result from 3D printing:
Its made out of PETG so won’t melt away due to heat/ sun/ rain. I’m thinking of also designing one that can be mounted to the grille?
Just curious to see if there is any interest if I were to buy another spool of PETG and make some more?

BUMP
Fiddled about with design and they now clip onto the front grille:
I’m printing them out of ABS plastic so they won’t deform etc...
Selling them for £10 including postage! Send a reply or shoot me a PM if interested

Haha, thanks Mart!
I thought I should just clarify on what you would receive:
It is a single piece with three small clips on the rear which hook onto the small lip underneath each “slat” of the front grille. I’ve positioned these clips so that when attached to the grille, the badge sits at this angle- if you would prefer it to sit straight I can just edit the design for you upon request!
You would probably want to paint (unless you have a white touring?) it yourself using any sort of plastic paint.
Cheers
