E34 M20 in 318I Touring

Hi everyone,

I found a good M20 + Box out of an E34 because I simply couldn’t find a good e30 M20B25 for a good price. I know that the engine mounts are different so I’ve ordered some but I’m not sure If I need anything else (bar propshaft and diff which I have ordered). Will the ECU and loom from the E34 work as it says in the M20 swap tutorial or will it need modifying? Is there anything else that will need to be changed/modified?

The loom will work but it wont fit properly, best to get an E30 loom
