So my 1984 325e has been shuddering under power for the past couple weeks. Wasnt too bad of an issue until recently, sometimes it shudders really bad on and off always under power and moreso going uphill. Just when it has a load. It feels like the car is almost hopping in a way and its very eratic when its shudders hard, you can feel somthing bumping on a rotational axis somewhere.

i decided to take a look under my car and I saw this on part of my driveshaft. The bolts that show a gap spin freely and theres one thats even missing it looks like on the lower section of 3 bolts....

Also the plastic look a little mangled....

not sure where to go from here.

Remove old guibo (drop centre bearing to allow the locating spigot to come out), obtain new guibo and any missing or damaged bolts, check that the bush into which the locating spigot fits is not damaged, and replace if it is.
Note the arrow embossed into the rim of the guibo in your second pic. This must point towards the flange that it is bolted to, as it is in the pic.
Check the condition of the mount for the centre bearing while the prop. is partly off, and renew that if the rubber is split. Fit the centre bearing back in place loosely, mark the position of the bearing, loosen the bolts, slide the bearing carrier forwards about 5mm in the slotted holes, and tighten the bolts fully.
