Hi from the land down under. I just got my 323i back on the road. It went off the road in 2006 needing an engine rebuild which has now been done, finally!
A lot of things have changed in that time, not the least the disappearance of E30's from the road. I rarely see them around these days.

Hi, also from the land down under.
Nice tour of your car. Does the non-OEM air filter make much difference?

Hi Coopman,
Back in 2005 when I purchased the car I moved to an oiled K&N filter, and to be honest I cannot remember seeing any performance difference.
During this engine rebuild I now use a dry filter, despite the K&N sticker still being on there. The aFe ProDry S Air Filter to be exact.
How much better this is over stock, again I'm sorry I don't know.
