Hey zone

I’m planning to do this upgrade and have found a used Z3 shifter from a broken car. Was just wondering if these sticks wear out at all or if just the bushing that’s do?

Only ask because I noticed the ball is plastic on the z3 shifter.

I fitted a Z3 1.9 shifter many years ago, maybe 15 or so and it still feels as tight now as it ever did.

The rubber up the middle of the shaft comes loose, but they are usually good for over 100,000 miles

Good to know thanks guys! Looking forward to having it, the throw is so long on the stock. I’m used to my 2011 vw caddy which is much shorter and firmer
