E Bay beware

Hi All,

Just had a peek at Ebay E30 ( Classic Cars ) and the first 11 x newly listed cars all look like a scam. Have a look to see if any of your cars have been copied / cloned.

The wodney trotter ones certainly look dubious. It's not just E30s listed - there's 300 other classics listed as well, and most ending at the same time!

that last one was used in an advert for a 2.7 hartge about 10yr's ago i'm sure of it.

If you're going to pull a scam it's a bit daft to have hundreds of rare cars at knock-down prices, better to have one or two I would have thought.

Could depend what this scammer was after. Might have just been links to computers / phishing rather than a direct money transfer? I did notice that one or two had got bids. Any ebay car with a starting price of something like £4,567 is going to be dodgy. Like scam emails it is just best to not open and give them a wide berth. I guess though, if they hooked one victim out of all those ad's it was job done!

They are at again. 14 x scam E30's on ebay todayz. Please be careful no matter how tempting. These cars belong to real people so check to see if your car is not one of them.
