Sometimes the display is fine and sometimes its not. Is the screen failing or something else?

It would appear to be either loose connections to the LCD, or possibly failing segments. Then again, it could be a loose main connections to the OBC, or possibly some other electrical fault such as a poor earth. Do your service indicator (SI) lights work OK?
Also, is it temperature related, i.e., works only when the interior is warm?

Either you've found the hidden language Klingon option, or there's definitely something wrong, but it doesn't look like the usual type of failure.
Could be a problem with the connections to the display, so take the display out, reseat the connector strip, and reassemble.

Thanks for the advice. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to when it happens and the SI lights work. When I get a chance I'll pull it out and check the connections. Cheers
Mine did that when I replaced the screen, last summer! Definitely the connecrtors to the screen maybe not fully bedded with the screen.
I had to take it all apart again. Worked second time!
regards
Richard
