Hi all
I have purchased the much recommended Lemforder front drop link upgrade parts, however I can't help but notice (as per the following pictures) they are significantly shorter than the original parts.
Are any further modifications required to make this work or is it just shorter because there are less parts (1 side of a triangle, apposed to 2).

It's slightly shorter than the original, but as long as you use a matching pair, this is of no consequence. All that will happen is that the ARB will sit at a slightly different static angle. Lowering a car from its original ride height moves the static position of the ARB in the other direction, so combining the two will put it back close to where BMW intended.
Of more concern is I find the bottom joint reaches the limit of its travel at full suspension droop, but it only just reaches the limit, so I don't think there's a problem in practice.

Thanks for the explanation Brian.
Car is slightly lowered and I will of course be using a matching pair of drop links.
Will check suspension droop once assembled, but agree that this is an extreme scenario.
