Automatic gearbox service

Hi all

I wanted to give my auto gearbox a service, eg change the oil and seals. It's on an E reg, M20 B25 with approx 100k which has been sat for at least 10 years

I've drained and removed the sump. Where is the best place to get a service kit / oil, replacement filter and the seals?

What seals are you looking for ?
A brave or very cleaver man to do this .lol

I'd check with BMW to see if the do a kit for the parts you require, I know they do a full rebuild kit as I had my box rebuilt last year as the clutch plates where worn and the guy who rebuilt it said tats where he got it from.

I assume its the Getrag box?

There is an O ring seal to the top of the filter and I gasket seal for the sump. Just the two I could see.

The O ring came with the filter and the gasket both from e-bay.
Thats as far as I dare to go .lol

Thanks for that. I searched on eBay and nothing like this came up for me. Must have used the wrong search words
