Muti pin plug next to central locking unit

Hi.. Ive just replaced the central locking relay unit behind the drivers side speaker...there is dangling another multi pin plug next to the CL unit..is this something that would be used for an 'option' or should it be connected somewhere? Just about everything seems to work that I know of at the moment. Thanks guys, great forum!!

Above the central locking ECU is a unit that delays the interior light switching off when the car is entered via the drivers door. This was not fitted to all cars but the loom has provision for all options so if your car has no light delay unit, it is possible that your multi-pin plug is what it would be connected to if it were fitted.
