there are many things you can do, but that doesnt mean you should do them. i think this falls into that category

As above, not something I would do.

Do you have some really bulletproof gearbox? They put springs in there for a reason. Get the clutch to match the flywheel.

I've gone with a sprung 6 paddle clutch disc from competition clutches boys.
