My driver's side window motor stopped working, it appears to be receiving no power. It is not the fuse as the passenger side still works, it is not the switch, because I tried swapping over the switches, where should I be looking next? Perhaps the plug and socket on the A pillar and door?

You've answered your own question.

Yes, check and clean the A pillar plug. You can check that the power is reaching the plug at the same time.

Have you removed the door card and checked at the motor?? I recently had an issue with mine. After looking into it, power got to the motor but it seemed to be jammed up. I loosened two of the T25 Torx screws that are accessible and tired again and it went up and down fine. I put some grease on the runners and re-tightened the bolts and it was fine again.

Yes, I unplugged the motor and checked the male plug from the door pillar, no power.

Thanks Ben, do you happen to know which pins are for the window? Later - it's OK I found that in the wiki, although it is not entirely clear from the drawing which pin is number 13

Find your car and download.

Look in "Connector views".
