No problem. Posts like yours are an inspiration to anybody going through a thorough restoration. Great to see these cars being rescued and used again. Took my car on a 200 mile run around North Yorkshire moors last weekend - brilliant despite the weather. Keep at it, it is worth all the hard work.

Ok. Were all sat in a circle. I stand up and say " My name is Trevor and I am addicted to ads for E30"
The E30 ads become addictive. I have a perfectly lovely E30 but still can't resist looking and searching. I think it is harmless fun...others may think I'm an obsessive nerd??

Hi mate love the details!
Did you make the factory jacking point or buy it?
If you made it do you have any deatails on how you made it and placement?
Thanks

Sorry for the slow response. I made it out of sheet steel, luckily have another two e30’s so just copied what they had regarding position etc

Hi no worries thanks for replying
Love to put some back on mine to make it more original
I'm I bit of a weirdo when it comes to little details like that
I'll have to try and dig some measurements off the net somewhere
Andrew

Nice progress. Slow and steady
What got to me was the no garage for a winter, no fun and slower progress!

Thanks mate, it’s a bit slower than I’d like but it’s getting there. I’m fortunate enough to have a garage to park it in and full workshop facilities at my disposal through work. Makes things a bit easier!

First time out of the garage for nearly six months. All the welding is done so try and get it MOT’d in the next few weeks.
